1.4 Visit the Enlight Photo application

2. Canvas: Improve your photo layout

With the Canvas tool, you can cut, rotate, adjust perspective and even bring objects in your photos closer together. Therefore, this tool is used to improve the layout, straighten your image and fix perspective problems.
To open the tool menu, click the Menu icon (three horizontal lines). Click Canvas to display three separate tools: Crop, Skew and Refit.

2.1. Crop Tool

This tool allows you to cut away the edges of the image. You can use it to remove distracting objects or sections from the edges of the image or to improve the layout. The Crop Tool also has options to rotate, straighten and flip your image.
To use the Crop tool, you must open the Canvas tool from the tools menu, then select Crop. From the bottom of the screen, click the Crop option. You just need to drag the corner handle to crop the image.
The Straighten tool is a perfect option to straighten the image, especially the horizon in your landscape photo. To straighten the image, simply touch the Straighten option in the Crop tool. Drag left or right through the image to rotate it and use grid lines to help you get the right image level.
If you want to crop photos with a specific frame rate, such as squares, 3: 4, etc., click the Fixed Ratios tab at the bottom of the screen. Then select a frame rate option below your image. If you want to undo your actions, press the Undo button (left arrow) at the bottom left of your image. Similarly, you can return to an edit that you undo by clicking the Redo button (right arrow).
Continue editing until you are satisfied, click on checkmark at the top right. If you want to cancel editing and exit the tool, press the X icon at the top left.

2.2. Skew Tool

This is a tool that allows you to troubleshoot perspective problems in photos. For example, if you take a photo of a tall building, the vertical lines of the building may appear to converge on top. The Refit tool will allow you to straighten straight lines to make them upright.
Similar to the Crop tool, to use the Skew tool, you must open the Canvas tool from the tools menu, then select Skew. From the bottom of the screen, click on the Vertical option. Swipe left or right through your photo to tilt the image vertically, and use grid lines to help you get straight lines. Continue editing until you are satisfied, click on checkmark at the top right.

2.3 Refit Tool

The Refit tool is another unique option, because it allows you to move elements of the image closer together. This feature requires a fairly simple platform to be effective. To use the Refit tool, you must open the Canvas tool from the tools menu, then select Refit. From the bottom of the screen, click on the Freeze option.
Usage is simple, just use your finger to draw on the objects you want to bring closer together. If you want to bring objects together horizontally, press Horizontal, then drag right to reduce the distance between objects. If you want to bring objects closer together vertically, use the Vertical option.

3. Image: Adjust color, exposure and clarity

The options of the Image tool allow you to adjust to achieve the perfect color, exposure (brightness level) and details in your photos. To use this tool, you must open the tool menu by clicking on the Menu icon. Then, click on Image, now there will be three tools available for you to access including: Adjust, Clarity, and Target.

3.1. Adjust Tool

Open the Image tool from the tools menu, then select Adjust. The Adjust options will appear at the bottom of the screen. The Adjust Tool contains presets and manual adjustment tools to help you improve color, exposure and detail.
Touch the Prese tab at the bottom of the screen to apply one-touch preset editing. If you prefer to adjust the settings manually, click on the Tools tab. However, the advice for beginners to use Enlight is to tweak the presets, then customize it with manual adjustment tools.
You need to make sure the Presets tab is selected at the bottom of the screen. Select a preset from the options below your photo, then swipe left or right through your image to adjust the intensity of the preset value. One trick is that, when you set a lower preset value, a more subtle edit is created.
At this point, click on the Tools tab at the bottom of the screen, then select a tool below your photos like: Basic, Colors, etc. Tap the setting you want to change, then swipe left or right on your photo to make adjustments. When satisfied with the edit, click checkmark to finish.

3.2. Clarity Tool

Open the Image tool from the tools menu, then select Clarity. The Clarity option will appear at the bottom of the screen.
This tool contains presets and manual adjustment tools to highlight details in your photos. It also has tools for detailed softening, which are convenient and useful for portraits and images that contain noise (grain).
Similar to the Adjust tool, you need to touch the Preset tab at the bottom of the screen to apply one-touch preset editing. If you prefer to adjust the settings manually, click on the Tools tab. You can also apply a preset, then customize it with the tools. Also, you can adjust the intensity of a preset or tool by swiping left or right. When satisfied with the edit, click checkmark to finish.

3.3. Target Tool

Open the Image tool from the tools menu, then select Target. The Target options will appear at the bottom of the screen. Outstanding white and red circles indicate which areas are currently selected for editing. The Target tool allows you to apply targeted edits to specific areas of the image. This can be considered the perfect tool to adjust colors or just touch a certain area.
To determine which areas are affected by your edits, drag the circle and pinch with two fingers to resize it large or small. Only the area you want to edit must be highlighted in red.
To edit the tone, tap Tone at the bottom of the screen, then select the tool you want to use, such as Exposure, Saturation, etc. You can adjust the brightness of the effect by swiping left or right.
To edit a new area, click on the Tool tab, then select Position. Remember to adjust the position of the circle to determine the new area to edit. Then touch Tone and adjust the color or exposure settings with the tools at the bottom of the screen.

4. Filters: Quickly change the Appearance & Mood of Photos

4.1. Analog Tool

Open the Filters tool from the tools menu, then select Analog. The Analog presets will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click Preset to apply it to your photo. Swipe left or right through your image to adjust the filter intensity. Remember that a lower value creates a more subtle effect. 4.2. BW (Black & White) Tool

The BW filter is to convert your images to black and white. You can choose from a variety of different black and white presets.

4.3 Duo Tool

Open the Filters tool from the tools menu, then select Duo. Duo presets will appear at the bottom of the screen. Duo filter will color your image with a blend of two different colors. You can customize the color and blending effect to suit your photo.
To change the position of the color gradient, simply drag or pinch the path or circle that appears on your image with your hand. To customize the preset, touch the Tool tab. Here you can change the two colors that make up the duotone slope. You can also change the blending mode that affects the color scheme of your photos.

5. Tools: Retouch, Blend & Selectively Blur Your Images

5.1. Mixer Tool

To use this feature, you first need to open the first image you want to edit in double exposure, then go to Tools > Mixer. Next, select the second image you want to use. At this moment, the second photo will appear at the top of the first photo. To resize the top image, just pinch it with two fingers. Drag the image to change the position.
To try different blending modes, open the Tools tab at the bottom of the screen, then select Blending. Many different modes will appear for you to choose, such as Overlay, Soft Light or Screen. To adjust the intensity of the blending mode, simply swipe left or right. If you want to delete part of the top image, click Tools at the bottom of the screen, then use the “Erase” tool to scan through any area you want to delete.

Go to Tools > Heal. The healing tools will appear at the bottom of the screen. When touching Mode at the bottom of the screen, you will see two different healing modes: Heal and Patch. In it, the Patch option works best in most situations, allowing you to copy pixels directly from one area of the image to another. You can also choose Heal to create a blended version of the two areas.
Your task is to move the two circles. Position the circle with the arrow pointing to it on the object you want to delete. Place another circle on the area you want to use to replace the unwanted object. If you want your replacement area to blend perfectly with your surroundings, use Feathering and Fuse options.

5.4. Tilt Shift Tool

The Tilt Shift tool allows you to selectively blur your image in a number of ways. The function of this tool is to create a tilt shift effect in which the scene looks like a small scale model. You can also use radial blurring options to create a blurry pattern around the edges of the image.
To create a fake tilted shift image, go to Tools > Tilt Shift. Radial defaults (circles) will be applied to your photos. Click on the Shape option at the bottom of the screen. The Mirror option allows you to create a depth effect, everything outside of the two lines will be blurred and indicated in the center position. Pinch the two lines to adjust the distance between them and drag the lines to ensure the focus area is in the right position.
To adjust the opacity for the image, click the Tools tab, then select Intensity. Swipe left or right through your photo to adjust accordingly.

6. Artistic: Applying Paint & Sketch effects

If you want to promote your creativity more than that, try out the Artistic tools in Enlight. These tools allow you to quickly turn your photos into stunning digital art.
To use, first you need to open the tool menu, then press Artistic. There are four tools in this category: Elements, Painting, Urban, and Sketch.

6.1. Painting, Urban & Sketch Tools

The operating mechanism of Painting, Urban & Sketch Tools is the same. After opening Artistic from the Enlight menu, simply select the tool you want to use. Next, select an effect from the presets below the image by clicking the Tools tab at the bottom of the screen. Use the options below your photo to customize the artistic effect. Like other Enlight tools, you adjust the intensity of the effect by swiping left or right on your photo.

6.2 Elements Tool

Select an element shape from the options below your image. Drag to move the element and pinch to resize. To customize the composition, tap the Tools tab at the bottom of the screen.
Use the Blending option to change the blending of elements with your image. Using the Color option allows you to change the element color. You can also try adding a stroke (outline) or shadow to your element.

7. Mask: Apply your edits selectively

8. Brushes: Draw special effects on your photos

With the Brush tool, you can draw or draw special effects on your photos.

8.1. Doodle & Effects Tools

10.2. Instafit Tool

With Instafit tool, you can locate your photos on different backgrounds such as monochrome, patterned or blurred version of the image. To use the Instafit tool, go to Finalize > Instafit. Pinch to resize and rotate images, drag to move its position.
The default background is the blurred version of the image. So, if you want to have a plain color background, click Color. Or if you want a patterned background, press Pattern. You can also use the Stroke option to add a border around your image.

10.3. Collage Tool
